Hi, I'm Leanne! ....
I’m a local Author (& Illustrator) of the inspiring Children's Book "All The Things You Could be".
I was born and raised in Edmonton and now reside, with my family, in Sherwood Park, AB.

I LOVE doing Author Field Trips and I'd LOVE to visit your classroom!!! 😊
(I also offer a zoom Author experience- if you HOMESCHOOL!- min 2 kids)
Field Trip Includes:
- A signed copy of "All the Things You Could Be" gifted to your classroom!
- A quick intro and questions to engage the kids "What do you want to be when you grow up?"
- A reading of "All The Things You Could Be", which shares many different vocations a person could be and shares the message of the most important thing .... "Keep Being YOU" and to "Follow your JOY" (the book is a quick and inspiring read)
- An easy to learn sing-along song with physical activity for kids (kids stand and participate)
- An Author Q & A- if kids have any questions
- Coloring sheets for kids to take home
- Field Trip could also include: a fun craft, make your own storybook/ questions about what makes a story, and more! (Depending on the age/ grade/ and time I have with your class)
- I'm excited to collaborate with you about what learning objectives you're covering and how my visit can tie in with that!
Learning Objectives Covered: A visit covers a wide range of objectives, as it nurtures self-esteem/ confidence, mental and physical well being, possibility. creativity, literacy, and FUN!
In-School Field Trips are for pre-school through to grade 3.
Cost per student (in-school): $15 per student
Cost per student (via zoom) $15 per student- if you do NOT want a copy of "All the Things You Could Be" mailed to you. $20 per student if you would like an Author signed book mailed to you. A bit about me:
I almost went to ART school out of high school, as I've always LOVED ART, and took art classes throughout my school years! Instead, I went into Nursing, as I also LOVED helping others, and worked as a RN for 12 years. During my Nursing career I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease, which lead me on a LONG HEALING journey, with that. I discovered that much of my physical dis-ease was brought on by past trauma and emotions, which I was able to heal through 'energy healing'. It was so liberating for me to finally have body ease that I knew I wanted to become certified in energy healing, so I could also help others going through chronic pain, or overcoming any kind of limitation. This birthed a new business for me- helping others create more ease, joy and possibilities in their lives! I also facilited consciousness classes for several years (through Access Consciousness®). During that time, I also received the message for my Children's Book "All The Things You Could Be", inspired by my own life story- reminding kids that it's never too late to "Follow your JOY"!
